McVickers Helped Start the Franchise Development Company in 2017

REP’M Group, a North Carolina-based franchise development company, has promoted experienced contractor and land developer Travis McVickers from senior vice president of real estate and construction to president of Build’M. Build’M, one of REP’M Group’s four core pillars, along with Brand’M, Scale’M and Grow’M, helps franchisors manage every stage of a project’s lifecycle, from site selection through space planning and construction.

McVickers helped start the company, then known as RPM, in 2017 when its services were limited to real estate and project management. “I’m excited to continue building on the momentum we have already created and expanding the Build’M service offerings to further support our clients,” he said. “Franchisors need to prioritize data-driven site selection, market demographics and unit economics to help franchisees select the right sites. Build’M will continue to foster our brand partners’ growth by managing the entire development process and providing expert project management that gets locations open on time and on budget.”

REP’M’s emphasis on responsible franchise growth is meaningful, McVickers said. “Growing at the right pace involves making smart decisions and giving every franchisee the best opportunity to succeed. At Build’M, we strive to treat every project as if it were our own. We believe every project deserves the same level of planning, communication and accountability, regardless of the size or cost.”

Quotes from Leadership

Rob Cambruzzi, founder and CEO of REP’M Group, said McVickers is the ideal person for this role because of his extensive experience in the real estate space. “Not only has he opened more locations than anyone I know, but he has built one of the best teams in the space doing it,” Cambruzzi said.

Nick Sheehan, co-founder and managing partner of REP’M Group, said he is confident McVickers will continue to make a positive impact moving forward. “His leadership, integrity and commitment have earned the trust of everyone around him. I can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make in this new role,” Sheehan said.

In his free time, McVickers is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys coaching baseball and spending time with his family.
