Miller Has Been with the Franchise Development Company Since its Early Years

Storm Miller has been promoted to senior director of franchise development at REP’M Group. Since joining the company in 2020, a year after its founding, Miller has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs find their franchise match within the REP’M portfolio, which includes The Dog Stop, Vibe House, The Fashion Class, Vanity Fur, 2nd Family, GolfTRK, Musicologie, SWEAT440, Monster Mini Golf, Renew Medic, Medi-Weightloss, WOW Windowboxes, HOMEstretch, Alloy Personal Training, HealthSource, Liqua-Roof and Art of Drawers.

Miller said he values the opportunities and experience he has gained through work with REP’M founders Rob Cambruzzi, Nick Sheehan and Jason Ryan, and Vice President of Franchise Development Cary Tober. “Not many in franchising have the experience that I’ve had in medical anti-aging, food service, fitness and home services in only six years as a developer. It feels like I’ve touched the farthest corners of the franchise spectrum in the brands I’ve represented thus far,” he said.

“Joining REP’M gave me the opportunity to take my career to a new level and help them build the business from its infancy stage to where we are now. We started lean, wore a ton of different hats early on and worked aggressively toward growth, attracted the right people and personalities in that endeavor and matured into a much more robust and effective solution for brands looking to grow their presence. My goal in this new role is to simplify and expedite closings for our brand partners by keeping them with the same personality from start to finish.”

Quotes from Leadership

Tober praised Miller as a dependable leader. “He leads with warmth, communicates with conviction and somehow manages to make every room a little better just by being in it,” Tober said.

Sheehan said he is thrilled to have Miller on the team. “Storm and I have been friends for over a decade, and seeing him grow and prosper is awesome. We know he is going to excel in his new role as he has over the past six years since joining the REP’M Group,” Sheehan said.

Responsible Franchise Growth

Miller said responsible, scalable franchise growth is central to REP’M Group’s culture. “We’ve also got a diverse group of franchise developers that are all dynamic in their own ways, and we’re consistent and built for long-term success. Many of the faces you see with the company have been the same faces you’ve seen for over half a decade. The longevity of this team doesn’t exist without a contagious culture that attracts and retains the best talent the industry offers.”

Professional Background

Prior to joining REP’M Group, Miller worked at Northwestern Mutual and Peachtree Financial Solutions. His introduction to franchising came as a funding consultant with Benetrends Financial, which specializes in funding solutions for franchises. His tenure with Benetrends provided a different perspective on franchising and enabled him to foster connections he still has today.

“My favorite thing about franchising is the people in it and how willing and open they are to sharing the secrets of their success with others,” Miller said. “I come from a very competitive industry, and it’s not often you get to work with people who may be your competitor but genuinely want you to be successful. We almost take it for granted in franchising.”

Miller lives with his wife and 2-year-old son in Pennsylvania. He looks forward to introducing his son to franchising when the time comes.
