McConvey’s Promotion Comes Since Joining the Franchise Development Company in 2022

REP’M Group, a North Carolina-based franchise development company, has promoted Alexis McConvey from senior marketing manager to director of marketing and communications. McConvey, who joined the franchise development company in 2022, is responsible for leading REP’M’s public relations strategy. She brings almost a decade of marketing experience to the role.

“I’m most excited about elevating REP’M’s voice and presence in the franchise space through sharing our story and the stories of the incredible brands and founders we support,” McConvey said. “There’s so much opportunity to expand our reach and amplify the impact we make. I’ve always had a passion for communications and PR, and stepping into this role allows me to focus even more on the aspects of marketing I love most. It’s fulfilling to align my strengths with a mission that matters.”

She said REP’M’s growth since she joined the company has been impressive. “At the time, we represented five brands on the GROW’M side. Today, we support 14, and that growth has fueled the expansion of our team and resources. While we’ve scaled quickly, our core mission has never wavered. It’s still all about helping franchisors and franchisees thrive.”

Dennis Jackson, REP’M Group’s vice president of marketing, said McConvey’s promotion is a testament to her hard work and dedication. “She continues to innovate and brings creativity and organization to the forefront within all of our marketing efforts. I’m excited about the future for Alexis and the BRAND’M department as we continue to support the best brands in franchising,” Jackson said.

Responsible Franchising and Marketing

McConvey cited REP’M’s dedication to responsible franchising as a driving force behind its expansion. “Responsible franchising is about doing right by our brands and their franchisees — not just making a sale, but supporting their entire journey,” she said. “At REP’M, we take a full-circle approach. Once a candidate signs, they’re supported through every stage, including getting their doors open. Franchising isn’t just about growing for the sake of numbers; it’s about opening doors for business owners to succeed. With REP’M Group’s four pillars — GROW’M, BUILD’M, BRAND’M and SCALE’M — we’re helping franchisors grow smart, sustainable systems that truly set their franchisees up for success.”

She added that marketing plays a major role in franchise success. “Marketing isn’t just about driving awareness; it’s about communicating the story behind the brand, building trust and aligning messaging with mission. In today’s landscape, where more people are leaving the traditional 9-to-5 in pursuit of ownership and flexibility, marketing is the bridge that connects them to opportunity.”

Aside from her professional achievements, McConvey reached a personal milestone by welcoming her first child in January.
