Remodeling Magazine Names Grand Rapids Dreammaker Franchise to Coveted ‘Big 50″²

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Greater Grand Rapids has been named one of the top 50 national remodeling companies. Its expertise, business practices, professionalism and success make it a role model for the industry. The award honors those business owners who practice exemplary business practices, management skills, community service, design and craftsmanship. Remodeling Magazine selects 50 remodelers each year.

The Comstock Park, Michigan, franchise is environmentally conscious, helping redesign homes for those with disabilities, as well as its Aging in Place program, which allows people to stay in their homes longer.

“Receiving the Big50 award is an affirmation of the talent, dedication and good will of our entire team.  Each and every member has played a significant role in making DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Grand Rapids an easy-to-work-with, quality remodeler that creates lasting beauty.  It has taken years of continued focus to achieve this level – and even then, we have had lots to learn!  We are so honored and grateful for this award.  It is deeply encouraging to our whole team,” said franchise owner Bill Wolf,

It is not the first time the company has received acclaim. In 2008, it was the regional winner of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry’s ‘Contractor of the Year’ Award for residential kitchens, and won its 2010 and 2013 regional awards for residential baths.

“DreamMaker’s corporate philosophy emphasizes honesty and community service,” says Wolf. “All franchise owners sign a ‘Code of Values.’ This means that we conduct our business completely above board – it’s not just about seeing how quickly we can get someone to sign a contract and finish the work.”

“I am extremely proud that our DreamMaker franchisees have consistently been chosen for this recognition,” said DreamMaker President and CSO Doug Dwyer. “The Big50 is a remodeling business excellence award for best practices. They induct only 50 new companies each year that set the standard for professionalism and integrity through smart marketing, exemplary business practices and extraordinary impact on their community or industry. This makes their recognition even more special and matches our desires for delivering excellence to our customers.”

Each year, Remodeling magazine names the Big 50 remodelers of the year.  Since the list’s inception in 1988, 14 DreamMaker Franchises have been named to the list, and Doug was the first to be named in 2000 to the Big50’s list of Movers & Shakers.

DreamMaker, with franchise locations nationwide, is seeking more great partners to bring its services to new markets.
