Oxi Fresh, a nationally recognized leader in carpet cleaning solutions, has just expanded its line of eco-friendly services.

Oxi Fresh dryer vent cleaning is now available to residential and business customers in many major markets.

The move highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to protecting homes and businesses while improving efficiency, performance and convenience for customers, says Matt Kline, the director of franchise development for Oxi Fresh.

“We were confident adding dryer vent cleaning services would be a great way to try to expand the Oxi Fresh brand,” Kline says. “It helps us better meet our customers’ needs and gives our franchisees a new opportunity to try and expand their business.”

Innovators Stay on Top

Founded by Jonathan Barnett in 2006, Oxi Fresh has won multiple awards for its eco-friendly low-moisture cleaning system which uses 95% less water than many others.

That allows carpets to dry in about one hour, significantly reducing downtime for customers. Oxi Fresh’s oxygen-powered cleaning solutions are designed to be safe for children, pets and the environment.

The company is also noted for its philanthropy. Oxi Fresh has donated more than $340,000 during its 10-year partnership with Matt Damon’s Water.org, a global nonprofit dedicated to providing access to safe water and sanitation.

With nearly 500 locations across the U.S. and Canada and a slew of honors for its innovative franchise model, Oxi Fresh could rest on its laurels, but Kline says even the best franchisors need to innovate to stay on top.

“We’re always on the hunt for things we can do to help our franchisees pursue growth more effectively,” he says. “While it was a lot of work for our home office team, adding this new service was a clear, straightforward way to do that.”

Why Dryer Vent Cleaning?

Oxi Fresh dryer vent cleaning was a natural fit for several reasons, Kline says.

First is demand: Estimated at $1.5 billion in 2025, the market is projected to reach $2.7 billion by 2033, according to Data Insights. The increase highlights the growing awareness of this essential service.

Dryer vent cleaning helps prolong the life of the appliance, leading to lower utility bills and fewer costly repairs. Even more important is safety. Failure to clean dryer vents leads to nearly 3,000 home dryer fires each year, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.

“The market offers a lot of serious benefits to Oxi Fresh’s existing customers, from improving their dryer’s performance and efficiency to minimizing their risk of house fires,” Kline says.

Why It’s a Good Fit for Franchisees

From a franchise standpoint, the two concepts offer the same customer base, making it easier to market and sell both products.

The new service pairs well with carpet cleaning, offering franchisees an easy way to bundle services, increase average job values and continue to build recurring revenue.

“This makes it straightforward for our franchisees to sell dryer vent cleaning services to their existing customers, whether they’re already in the home or simply reaching out with new messaging,” says Kline. “It’s a natural fit for what our franchisees are already doing, giving them a new way to pursue growth in their territories.”

Another benefit is that franchise owners can apply the same marketing programs and strategies used to sell carpet cleaning services.  “We’re also innovating new marketing tactics that are more dryer vent-specific,” he adds.

Adding the service requires specialized equipment, but Oxi Fresh provides access to a funding partner that can help franchisees finance those purchases.

Once equipment is in place, owners and their technicians receive a two-day, in-person training at Oxi Fresh’s home office in Colorado, which includes a full day of classroom training and demonstration and a full day in the field.

Because Oxi Fresh already has robust franchisee infrastructure — including scheduling systems, proven marketing programs, and advanced CRM tools —Kline says franchisees will be able to add dryer vent cleaning to their businesses quickly and effectively.

It’s a win-win, he says, noting that Oxi Fresh is always looking to create new paths to growth for its owners.

“Moving ahead, we’ll continue to take proactive steps to build a stronger, more exceptional brand that’s better able to serve our franchisees and their customers.”
