Susan Boresow has been named president of MY SALON Suite, a salon suite franchise under the Propelled Brands umbrella. She brings more than 35 years of experience in franchising, operations, marketing, brand stewardship and leadership to the position.
“I was attracted to MY SALON Suite as I love the model and what it stands for. The values, sense of community, and opportunity to see individuals be their own bosses in a creative environment is so satisfying. The position came open and timing was everything as I engaged with Catherine Monson, CEO of Propelled Brands, whom I have always respected,” Boresow said.
She added that she’s excited about working with the MY SALON Suite team to innovate and increase profitability for franchisees. Propelled Brands’ focus on service-oriented brands that exhibit strong growth potential and resilience to economic fluctuations will continue positively impacting the future of franchising, Boresow said.

Passion for Leadership
Boresow has spent the last three decades in leadership roles with brands including Massage Heights, TITLE Boxing Club, Massage Envy, Pump It Up/Bounce U, Sports Clips, Coldstone Creamery, Godfather’s Pizza and McDonald’s. She said she will utilize the skills she has learned over the course of her career to drive MY SALON Suite’s growth.
“My role is to continue leading with the established values and culture of the brand. Listening, learning and leading with a vision that can take everyone to the next level will be critical. Collaboration and communication are also essential,” she said.
The second oldest of 14 children, Boresow credits her parents for instilling the values that have guided her throughout her life.
