Hartwig’s Expertise Spans Franchising, Real Estate, Construction and Multi-Unit Operations
Metal Supermarkets, a small-quantity metal supplier, has named Adria Hartwig chief development officer. She leads a franchise development team focused on recruitment, territory strategy, broker relationships and growth initiatives.
“What immediately stood out to me about Metal Supermarkets was the strength of the B2B model and how differentiated the concept is within franchising,” Hartwig said. “This is a business built around relationships, operational excellence and serving a critical need for customers every day. This is a legacy brand that has an incredible foundation, a dynamic leadership team and a unique position in the marketplace. I’m excited to lead a talented franchise development team and help expand the brand with high-caliber entrepreneurs who want to build meaningful, long-term businesses in their communities.”
Hartwig’s 20-plus year career has spanned franchising, real estate, construction and multi-unit operations. She has served in leadership roles with Coldwell Banker, REMAX Real Estate, Anywhere Real Estate and City Wide Facility Solutions. Hartwig also has owned and scaled multiple businesses. “I’ve always been attracted to gritty B2B businesses that solve real problems and create opportunities for entrepreneurs to build life-changing legacies for their families.”
Ryan Pryznyk, president and CEO of Metal Supermarkets, said Hartwig “brings a strong track record in franchise development and a disciplined, process-driven approach to growth. Her leadership will be instrumental as we continue to invest in the expansion of our network and the ongoing success of our existing stores, strengthening our system for the long term.”
During her downtime, Hartwig enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two cats, Eleven and Demogorgon — names inspired by characters from her favorite show, “Stranger Things.”
