The Operations Pro Brings Two Decades of Experience to the Role

Launch Entertainment, a prominent indoor family entertainment franchise, named Yvette Martinez chief operating officer (COO). This announcement comes as the family entertainment franchise invests in its leadership team to enhance operations, fuel growth and drive development.  

Martinez was drawn to Launch Entertainment for its commitment to creating lasting memories. She also appreciates the diversified attractions, with offerings that appeal to everybody. As a mother herself, Martinez feels it is important to have a safe, clean, and fun environment where parents can take their families.

Joining Martinez in the executive lineup is Craig Erlich, recently appointed to chief executive officer. A Career in Franchising

Martinez previously served as COO of Brix Holdings, a Dallas-based franchisor of brands including Orange Leaf, RedBrick Pizza, Red Mango, Smoothie Factory and Souper Salad. She was also the franchisor’s vice president of operations, where she focused on the supply chain and franchise management.

She was initially attracted to franchising because of the entrepreneurial spirit it supports while allowing business owners to benefit from an established, recognizable brand. Her favorite aspect of franchising is the proven business model and ongoing support provided by the franchisor, which reduces the risks that come with entrepreneurship.

The Road to Franchise Ownership

Martinez believes aspiring franchise owners will be more engaged and motivated if they choose a brand that aligns with their interests and passions. She added that qualities like patience and persistence lead to success.  

On the franchisor side, Martinez advocates for a solid business model, strong franchisee relationships and adaptability.
