Jeff Dudan and his son, Zack (below center and right), share more than a last name. They share a mission: creating opportunities for families and making a lasting impact. Together, they built HomeFront Brands, a family of home services franchises.

As CEO, Jeff draws on nearly three decades in home services, developing brands that offer stability, growth and purpose-driven work. He has always been a fan of home services. “Home and property services are the most durable of franchise segments,” Jeff says. “For people looking to build a business with long-term potential, this is where you want to be.”

Following in his father’s footsteps as both an entrepreneur and a leader, Zack, HomeFront’s chief growth officer, upholds the same vision and commitment. “When we built HomeFront in 2022, we weren’t just looking at the numbers,” Zack explains. “We wanted to create businesses that are good for people.”

A key strength of HomeFront Brands is its leadership structure. Each brand has a dedicated president who’s an industry expert with deep knowledge of his or her field. “They understand everything from installation to customer service at the highest level,” says Jeff. “That expertise gives franchisees a huge advantage from day one. We are franchisee outcome-focused. Every decision we make is to ensure they are building profitable, sustainable businesses.”

To help franchisees start strong, HomeFront prioritizes training and early-stage support. “One of our mantras is: Start well, so it goes well,” Jeff explains. “We push market development forward so franchisees generate revenue quickly and don’t get overwhelmed.”

A hands-on leader, Jeff hosts monthly “Owners Only “sessions, where franchisees gain insights from top business leaders. “I bring the best professional development to our franchise owners,” Jeff says. “We’ve had experts in sales, pricing and business strategy — it’s about giving them tools to grow.”

Zack is especially proud of HomeFront’s “Meet the Team” days. “They are one of the most immersive experiences in franchising,” he says. “Candidates meet the entire leadership team, so by the time they join, they already feel part of the family.”

In just two years, HomeFront Brands has expanded to 240 owners across 700 territories. Ideal franchise owners have the financial resources, business acumen and leadership skills necessary to scale operations effectively. “We’re not looking for people who want to run a business solo. We want leaders who will grow a thriving operation.”

When everybody knows what’s important and understands what you stand for, it builds trust.

A Culture of Caring

Philanthropy and supporting others play a big role at HomeFront Brands. The company’s core values are embodied in its C.A.R.E.S. culture (an acronym for Community, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Service). “We care deeply about three things: Creating economic freedom for families, supporting children’s literacy and helping U.S. veterans transition to civilian life,” Jeff says.

One way they’re putting this commitment into action is through a partnership with the Carson Scholars Fund. Through this initiative, they’re creating reading rooms where children can discover books, learn and dream big. “This isn’t just any project — it’s something we truly care about,” Jeff says. “We’re launching our first reading room in Charlotte, N.C. this March, and we couldn’t be more excited.”

HomeFront Brands also supports veterans through its partnership with Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance, housing, support and other critical resources to military families and veterans.

“When our actions as a group, as an organization and as a brand are aligned with a need, and our actions are consistent with our words in making an impact in the broader world, that’s when values can truly create alignment within a franchise network and velocity inside the business. When everybody knows what’s important and understands what you stand for, it builds trust,” says Jeff.
