Harris has Extensive Experience Fostering Growth Across Franchising, Retail and Consumer Brands
Franchise FastLane, a turn-key franchise sales organization (FSO), has named Heather Harris chief executive officer. She has almost three decades of leadership experience across franchising, retail and consumer brands, including Uni K Wax, CycleBar and Intelligent Office.
Harris said she had developed relationships with several leaders at Franchise FastLane and watched the FSO grow over the years. “Joining Franchise FastLane felt less like accepting a new position and more like joining a mission I already believed in. The alignment between my values, my experience and the company’s future made it feel like the right next chapter. Franchise FastLane already has tremendous momentum, exceptional people, deep consultant relationships and a reputation that has been earned through years of delivering results. My role isn’t to reinvent what works. It’s to help scale it, strengthen it and position it for even greater impact.”
She emphasized that technology is key to the FSO’s growth. “As technology evolves and candidates become more informed, our opportunity is to combine data-driven tools and innovation with a highly personalized approach. When we help the right brands connect with the right candidates through a process built on trust and transparency, everyone wins. Franchising doesn’t need more transactions. It needs more successful franchise owners, stronger brands and better outcomes. That’s where FastLane can continue to lead.”
Harris credited her experience as a collegiate athlete, basketball coach, mother and business leader with shaping her leadership philosophy. “To me, leadership is about helping people become more than they believed they could be,” she said. “It’s not about titles, authority or control. It’s about service, responsibility and creating an environment where people can do their best work. Great leaders create clarity during uncertainty, confidence during challenges and accountability during growth. I’m a huge believer that culture matters. You’ll often find me celebrating wins, recognizing great work and bringing energy to a room because I believe success should be both meaningful and fun.”
Tim Koch, president and chief operating officer of Franchise FastLane, praised Harris’ passion for helping others succeed. “She understands what it takes to build a brand because she has done it herself. More importantly, it’s who Heather is at her core that makes her such a natural fit for Franchise FastLane and the future we’re building. She leads with integrity, puts people first and cares deeply about helping others grow,” Koch said.
