Emerging Franchise Specializes in Design and Installation of Cabinets and Countertops
Franchising since 2022, Cabinet IQ has turned to development accelerator Franchise FastLane to nurture its growth within the kitchen and bathroom remodeling marketplace. Cabinet IQ is known for using a 3-D modeling process to develop precision plans for updating cabinetry and countertops.
According to a new National Kitchen + Bath Association report, U.S. homeowners remodel some 10.2 million kitchens (about one-tenth of all households) and 14.2 million bathrooms each year. A December 2023 Forbes article estimated the average kitchen remodel at $27,000. Bathroom remodels cost about $10,000 on average, another Forbes article said, while pointing out that higher-end renovations can hit $30,000 or more.
Fast-Growing Brand
Michael Hartel founded Cabinet IQ to modernize the processes for refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms. Hartel’s approach streamlined the installation process and won praise for his brand, which was listed as one of the Austin (Texas) Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2021. A key to Cabinet IQ’s success has been providing one point of contact throughout the project to facilitate clear communication, timely updates and effective coordination of projects from day one through to completion. The Central Texas-based company offers a wide range of products to fit its clients’ varying budgets and emphasizes peerless customer service.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to partner with the Franchise FastLane team,” Hartel said in a news release announcing that Cabinet IQ would join forces with Franchise FastLane. “We’re hopeful their talented sales and development teams will help us make Cabinet IQ the next big thing in the home improvement space.”
The franchise has a low barrier to entry, comprehensive training and strong ongoing support, Franchise FastLane CEO Carey Gilley noted in the news release. “Cabinet IQ’s business model, value proposition and key differentiators literally check every box when it comes to what we look for in an emerging franchise brand. We’re extremely excited to welcome this up-and-coming kitchen and bath remodeling concept to our portfolio of brands.”
