Stillings Leads FBR’s Client Consultants in Newly Expanded Role as VP of Growth

Franchise Business Review, an independent market research firm, has promoted Courtney Stillings to vice president of growth. Stillings joined the firm in 2020 as a client consultant and recently served as director of development. She now leads FBR’s team of client consultants and oversees new business development, ongoing client relations and account management.

“I’m most excited about continuing to help franchise brands and leaders raise the bar in franchising and grow the right way. There are so many opportunities to help each other in this space, and I’m thrilled to be able to work alongside leaders looking to make a difference every day,” Stillings said.

President and COO Michelle Rowan praised Stillings as a thought leader in franchising and credited her relationship-building abilities with moving FBR forward. “With her leadership skills, growth mindset and passion for helping franchisors strengthen the relationships within their systems, we look forward to Courtney playing an instrumental role in helping FBR achieve our strategic goals and continue to provide outstanding, personalized service to our clients.”

Courtney Stillings is the new vice president of growth for Franchise Business Review.

Stillings’ experience with FBR has focused on educating franchise companies in measuring franchisee and employee feedback and using that data to improve franchise performance. In her new role, she works closely with client success and marketing teams to maximize opportunities for clients to achieve their goals and accelerate growth.

She emphasized the importance of franchisees having a passion for what they do and asking for feedback from others in their franchise systems, which can help them make changes as the franchising environment evolves. “I know change can be hard, but being able to try something new is so important, especially in this industry.”

Roots in Hospitality

Prior to joining FBR, Stillings worked in the hospitality industry for almost a decade. She has held various sales positions at Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, Marriott International and Hilton Hotels. In 2020, she founded Impact Sales Consulting, which assists small and midsized businesses with sales, marketing and development efforts. She currently serves as the organization’s CEO and sales director.
