Franchisor Has Added Four Brands to Its Portfolio This Year
Empower Brands, a franchisor of commercial and residential service brands, has entered a joint venture with Canopy Lawn Care. The lawn service brand is the fourth addition to Empower Brands’ portfolio this year.
In a news release, Empower Brands CEO Scott Zide said, “When we began conversations with Canopy a few months back, I knew they would be a great fit.” Empower Brands’ mission “is to leave people and properties better than they found them,” Zide added, and he said Canopy Lawn Care has “a service-first code of values” plus “an already great brand and proven business model that we can expand nationally via a franchise system.”
Canopy Lawn Care’s Services
Established in 2016, Canopy Lawn Care’s services range from weed control and fertilizing to lawn aeration and fungal protection. The news release said that Empower Brands will move Canopy Lawn Care into its incubation system, which in turn will amplify the resources enabling broad expansion of the lawn care franchise.
Canopy Lawn Care founder Hunt Davis stated that Empower and Canopy have a shared vision for growth. “Canopy Lawn Care has always been committed to delivering exceptional service and innovation in the lawn care industry,” Davis said. “By teaming up with Empower Brands, we can extend our reach and impact by providing aspiring franchisees with a proven business model, comprehensive training and support, and the tools they need to thrive.”
Both Empower Brands and North Carolina-based Canopy Lawn Care are seeking potential franchisees for the lawn care brand.
