Harris Brings 25-Plus Years of Experience to the Role
Empower Brands, an umbrella corporation of commercial and residential home services franchises, announced Heather Harris as president of Intelligent Office. As president, Harris will oversee the entire franchise system for the flexible workspace brand. She brings more than 25 years of experience to the role.
In addition to Intelligent Office, other franchises under the Empower Brands umbrella include Archadeck Outdoor Living, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, Conserva Irrigation, JAN-PRO, FRSTeam, and Superior Fence and Rail. Empower Brands recently added R. Scott Sutton as Chief Development Officer.
Dedication and strong leadership attracted Harris to Intelligent Office and Empower Brands. She wanted to join a company with a long history of success. Founded in 1995, Intelligent Office fit that criteria. “Not only were they an industry pioneer, but they were a company focused on delivering amazing customer service with testimonials to prove it,” Harris said.
Harris has a passion for helping people and their businesses grow. “The Intelligent Office franchise is the partner every small business owner needs. We help business owners by reducing their fixed costs and customizing business solutions for them, so they can focus on what they love most – growing their business!”

By prioritizing the success of franchisees and offering great support, Empower Brands will continue to make its mark in franchising, Harris added. “We are constantly looking for new brands to add to our lineup. By expanding the right brands, we give our franchisees the best-in-class businesses.”
Harris notes that Intelligent Office is rolling out new marketing initiatives that help drive brand awareness, reinforce customer targets and onboard national brands. She is especially excited about helping new franchises in their critical first years, where the weight of fixed costs can prevent early success.
Appreciation for Franchising
Harris held leadership roles throughout her career with established and emerging companies, including the Five Seasons Family Sports Club and CycleBar. From fast-food and beverages to boutique fitness, Harris appreciates the diversity of opportunities that franchising offers and the fact that entrepreneurs don’t have to go into business alone.
