The Mental Health Franchise Looks Forward to Multiple Grand Openings in 2023
Nearly 450 million people suffer from mental illness, but only about one-third of victims seek treatment, according to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. Ellie Mental Health plans to change that. The emerging franchise brand is on a mission to destigmatize mental health care with innovative offerings and welcoming locations opening across the country.
Ellie Mental Health was established by Erin Pash and Kyle Keller, two high school friends who set out to make services more accessible. Pash and Keller launched the first location in 2015 in St. Paul, Minn. and now have 20 successful corporate-owned sites throughout Minnesota.
Upcoming Ellie Mental Health Locations
Ellie Mental Health began offering franchise opportunities in October 2021 and has more than 250 locations in development in 26 states. The company anticipates multiple grand openings throughout 2023. ”After a year of telling our story and a year of selling licenses, it is beyond cool to see the actual clinics take shape and start to open. I’m sure this is true of most franchisors, but I get such a feeling of pride seeing our brand, logo, and services in places outside of Minnesota. We have 200 passionate, like-minded, driven people that will bring Ellie to life and make mental health services more accessible in their communities. The coolest part of all of this is seeing their dreams and ambition to serve coming to life,” said Christopher Pash, Ellie Mental Health’s senior vice president of growth and development.
