The Anti-Aging Franchise’s First New Jersey-Based Franchisee Will Serve as Chief Medical Officer

Serotonin Centers, a leading anti-aging and longevity franchise, has appointed Dr. Lisa Golding-Granado chief medical officer. She will serve as a resource to the medical directors and practitioners staffing each of the brand’s locations and lead clinical initiatives that will enhance Serotonin’s service offerings. The board-certified doctor of internal medicine first became involved with Serotonin back in 2022 as the brand’s first franchise owner in New Jersey. She brings 24 years of medical experience to the role.

“Becoming Serotonin’s first chief medical officer is an incredible honor and an exciting challenge. It represents a culmination of my journey in medicine and my focus on wellness, allowing me to shape the future of health and wellness on a larger scale, which would not have been possible as a solo practitioner,” Golding-Granado said.

She said Serotonin’s holistic approach to health and dedication to combining medical knowledge with wellness practices attracted her to the brand. “Their focus on not just treating, but preventing health issues through weight loss, hormone balancing, and vitamin and nutraceutical supplementation, resonated with my own beliefs in how medicine could be better. Investing in Serotonin was a natural step, as it provided a platform to bring cutting-edge, preventative health solutions to a broader audience.” She added that working with founder and CEO Eric Casaburi was an opportunity that was too good to pass up.

Making an Impact

Golding-Granado’s journey into franchising began with a passion for integrating traditional medical expertise with functional medicine and wellness. After years of running a successful practice in internal medicine and aesthetics, she said she saw franchising as a powerful platform to expand her impact. “What I love most about the franchising industry is the ability to scale proven health and wellness solutions, reaching more communities and helping more individuals to achieve their wellness goals.”

As Serotonin’s first franchisee in New Jersey, not only did she have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the brand’s operations, values and client needs, but she was equipped with insights to better assist franchise owners’ growth, she said.

Because of the demand for personalized, preventative health solutions as consumers become increasingly familiar with the sector’s various modalities, Golding-Granado expressed optimism about the future of the medspa industry. “We will play a pivotal role in setting new standards for health and wellness through innovative treatments and a client-centered approach.”

Outside of work, the Cornell University Medical College graduate has a passion for reading, writing, learning new recipes and spending time with her two sons.
