NFL player will pitch his values of healthy, clean living
Clean Juice, the only U.S. Department of Agriculture-certified organic juice bar franchise, has signed Tim Tebow as a pitchman for the company’s values of pursuing a clean, healthy lifestyle. Clean Juice will feature Tebow in its first nationally televised commercials and in various media and web platforms as the company raises the profile of its brand.
Clean Juice CEO and co-founder Landon Eckles said Tebow is an ideal choice as brand ambassador because of his reputation for wholesome living and unwavering faith. “We are truly blessed that Tebow has chosen to stand side by side with Clean Juice in becoming the face of the brand’s continued mission and vision of being healthy in body and strong in spirit,” Eckles said in a statement released by the company.
“I’m very excited to be partnering with Clean Juice and to offer something that is truly clean and healthy,” Tebow said. “The biggest thing about Clean Juice over everything else is that you can trust the product and brand. There aren’t a lot of products that are transparent about what is in your food.”
Tebow serves as an inspiration because of his values, the statement said. He is founder and chairman of the board of the Tim Tebow Foundation, established in 2010, which operates ministries that assist and celebrate people with special needs, aids homeless and abandoned children, offers spiritual and physical care to children with serious health issues, and battles human trafficking. The foundation’s mission is to bring faith, hope and love to people during their most difficult times.
Clean Juice also wil team with the Tim Tebow Foundation to jointly enhance local communities through the company’s Quarters 4 Kids initiative. This project, which was started during the Covid-19 pandemic, gives underprivileged children access to and education about nutrition, organic food choices, fitness and health.
Eckles said his company is “honored and blessed to align our philanthropic vision and dream of making meaningful and impactful contributions toward underprivileged children and communities with Tebow and his foundation. … We couldn’t think of anyone better than Tebow and his foundation to fulfill our dream of faithful community service.”
Tebow, a Heisman Trophy winner as a collegiate football star, has had two stints in the NFL and also has worked for ESPN and the SEC Network. In 2016, in between his NFL gigs, Tebow signed a baseball contract with the New York Mets in 2016. He’s now with the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars. Founded in 2016, Clean Juice was ranked in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2021 Franchise 500 list and was No. 1 on Franchise Gator’s 2021 Fastest-Growing Franchises list.
