Former Texas Roadhouse Owner Brings Entrepreneurial Insight and Mentorship to Carpet Cleaning Concept
Chem-Dry, a respected global carpet and upholstery cleaning giant with BELFOR Franchise Group, tapped Jeremy Burch as business coach. As a former franchise business owner, he will leverage his experience to build relationships with franchisees to better support them and drive performance.
Burch was drawn to Chem-Dry because of its great reputation in the carpet and upholstery cleaning space. He looks forward to making a significant impact on the success of Chem-Dry franchisees. “As a business coach, I have the privilege of using my experience and expertise to help franchisees enhance their business operations, achieve their goals, and thrive in a competitive industry. I’m excited to share my knowledge, provide guidance, and witness the growth and prosperity of the franchisees I work with. It’s a role that aligns with my passion for coaching and mentoring, and I’m looking forward to the journey ahead with Chem-Dry.”
Chem-Dry president Ed Quinlan released a statement regarding Burch’s position. “His enthusiasm is bound to strengthen Chem-Dry’s franchise development program. Jeremy’s firm belief in our company and the proven model we’ve cultivated over 45 years is truly commendable. I take pride in having someone in this role who wholeheartedly embraces our legacy while charting a course for our future and supporting our franchise network.”

From Diswasher to Franchisee
Burch started his franchising journey with the Texas Roadhouse steakhouse franchise in his early 20s as a busser and dishwasher. Over time, he worked his way up the ranks, eventually becoming a kitchen manager, product coach and owner of a Texas Roadhouse franchise location. His favorite aspect of franchising is the sense of ownership and responsibility it brings to entrepreneurs.
His experience as a Texas Roadhouse franchisee gave him a deep sense of empathy and understanding for franchisees. He can grasp the challenges, pressures, and opportunities they encounter, which enables more meaningful connections and tailored solutions. Additionally, Burch has a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of a franchise business and sharpened problem-solving skills.
Buying a Franchise
Burch advises aspiring franchise owners to embrace the power of perseverance, learning through mentors and educational resources. He also believes in a customer-centric approach. “Your customers are at the heart of your success, so always prioritize their needs and feedback. Building strong relationships and delivering exceptional value will set you apart.” He added that taking calculated risks is important because while entrepreneurship inherently involves uncertainty, there can be rewards at the end. In his view, success in entrepreneurship is a combination of passion, dedication, and a willingness to learn from both successes and failures.
