Biedenbender will Drive Franchise Growth and Resale Opportunities

CertaPro Painters, a residential and commercial painting franchise, named Adam Biedenbender vice president of franchise development. With this new role, Biedenbender will drive franchise growth and resale opportunities. He has more than 20 years of franchising experience.

“I’ve been in franchising since 2002 and what attracted me to CertaPro Painters is that it’s an iconic brand with a great company culture. I’m grateful for this new opportunity and looking forward to leveraging my experience in franchising as well as my franchisee network to grow CertaPro’s footprint across North America and take the business development team to new heights,” Biedenbender said in a statement.

He has admired CertaPro Painters because of its great reputation and was completely sold after meeting the leadership team. “There is a tremendous opportunity to grow this brand in terms of footprint and market share in the U.S. and Canada. I am excited to bring my experience and a lot of hard work to achieve these two goals.”

CertaPro’s leadership team is thrilled to have Biedenbender on board. “I’m super excited to have Adam join our executive leadership team. All of our franchisees bought their businesses to build a legacy and achieve success as their own boss. Making them feel confident in this decision starts with the business development team, and I know Adam has the necessary skills and mindset to thrive in this role,” said Mike Stone, president and CEO of CertaPro Painters.

To Biedenbender, CertaPro will positively impact the future of franchising. “For 30 years now, we have supported our franchisees and made sure that we service them first. This philosophy has made this company what it is today, and I don’t see any signs of slowing this momentum.”

Biedenbender’s Franchising Background

Biedenbender got his start in franchising in 2002 with Quizno’s Sub. “I started as a lead qualifier for the sales and development team. I’ve grown from that position, all those years ago, and am lucky enough to now head up franchise recruiting for CertaPro Painters.” He enjoys helping people get into business. “The relationships that I have made in this industry will last a lifetime. I’m very grateful for that.”

Prior to CertaPro Painters, Biedenbender worked in franchise development for Lift Brands, the parent company of Snap Fitness and minority partner of 9Round. During his time there, Biedenbender implemented franchising and real estate strategy, lead creation, and resale programs. He also held leadership positions at companies like Papa Murphy’s International, Smashburger, and Primo Hoagies.

For entrepreneurs with the franchising bug, Biedenbender advises them to “look for a concept that will support you and spend time driving unit level economics. This is what makes a successful brand that will stand the test of time.”
