McAdoo has Extensive Experience Leading Systems Innovation, Digital Transformation and Workflow Strategy

Caring Senior Service, a non-medical, personalized home care services franchise, has named Justin McAdoo chief technology officer. McAdoo’s professional background includes leading systems innovation, digital transformation and workflow strategy at T-Mobile and Verge. He is also the founder of Sympi, a software development company. His primary responsibilities in this new role include advancing Caring Senior Service’s proprietary platforms, expanding innovative caregiving resources, and ensuring franchise owners have the technology and support they need.

McAdoo said Caring Senior Service’s mission, business foundation and growth potential immediately stood out to him. “The mission is deeply personal. Helping seniors stay healthy, happy and at home impacts families every single day,” he said. “Having founded a software startup and worked within owner-operator models for years, I’ve learned that the most rewarding work happens when technology serves a higher purpose, and there’s no higher purpose than preserving dignity and independence for our seniors.”

He said he’s excited about working with a great group of people with a shared vision and purpose. “Our people are already doing great work. But what drew me in was the opportunity to evolve our technology into a true force multiplier — one that surfaces insights automatically, increases operational efficiency and amplifies the proactive care our teams are already delivering. When Jeff Salter, founder and CEO of Caring Senior Service, and I started talking, the alignment was clear. He’s built something strong, and I have the fortune to help him take it to the next stage.”

Commitment to Growth

In addition to McAdoo’s appointment, Senior Caring Service also has welcomed Ken Doty as chief operating officer.

Salter said McAdoo and Doty will position the senior care franchise as a forward-thinking leader in the industry. “Ken’s proven ability to optimize franchise performance and Justin’s deep background in digital solutions will allow us to accelerate growth while modernizing the caregiving experience for clients and families across our network,” Salter said.

McAdoo is focused on using technology to enable the human side of senior care. “The home care industry faces real challenges: caregiver shortages, administrative burden and regulatory complexity. Technology can’t solve everything, but it can solve the right things — the things that steal time away from seniors. We’re investing in the evolution of Tendio, our proprietary platform, to make it a more powerful enabler for our teams. The goal is to surface the right insights at the right time, streamline workflows so franchisees can operate more efficiently, and reduce administrative friction so caregivers can focus on what they do best: caring for seniors.

“If we can turn a 30-minute administrative task into a two-minute one, that’s 28 minutes a caregiver gets back to spend with a senior. That time belongs with the senior, not the software. Multiply that across thousands of visits every day, and we’re talking about giving back hundreds of hours to the people who need it most.”

McAdoo credits his father, a former typewriter repair person, for fostering a sense of curiosity about how systems work. “I used to take apart his machines all the time, hide them under my bed and figure out how everything worked. He’d find them, and instead of being mad, he’d just laugh and help me put them back together.”
