Arnet Transitions to Advisory Board as Part of Retirement
Big Sky Franchise Team, a franchise development company, has announced that longtime senior marketing consultant Brian Arnet will be transitioning to the Big Sky Advisory Board as part of his retirement. As a member of the advisory board, he will leverage his 40 years of professional experience to provide insight and wisdom to the Big Sky leadership team.
Arnet said he looks forward to the new role and continued contact with founder and CEO Dr. Tom DuFore. “Tom and I have worked together for 13-plus years at three different companies. When Tom called me to let me know that he was going to start up his own franchise consulting company in 2016, I immediately accepted his offer to join him in helping entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level through franchising.”
DuFore said working with Arnet over more than 13 years has been a great opportunity. “Brian is loyal, dependable, hard-working, and someone who really cares about serving his clients and team. Brian has been someone that I have not just been able to work alongside, but also someone I consider a friend. He has been a foundational piece to my business success and someone I will miss. We have been through a lot of ups and downs and winding roads together. He has left a personal legacy with me and will continue to influence me for many years to come. I wish Brian much joy and fulfillment in his retirement,” DuFore said.

Franchising Veteran
Hailing from Chicago, Arnet holds an MBA from Roosevelt University. His professional background includes 16 years with United Airlines as international franchise relations manager and marketing manager. During that time, he was a United Airlines representative for the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl team and traveled on all road games that season. He also helped spearhead the United Vacations program and grew it in nine countries across five continents. Arnet was also a marketing associate at Rabine Group, a national exterior facilities specialist offering commercial paving, roofing, property assessments and more.
“If you’re looking for an exciting career where you can help people grow their businesses, then franchising is for you,” Arnet said. “This is true whether you are a mother, father, veteran, or retiree.”
