Fast-Food Franchises Kick Off Black Friday and Cyber Monday with Bonus Gift Cards and Discounts
After eating Thanksgiving dinner, millions of Americans will head to the malls to kickstart the 2022 holiday season with Black Friday shopping. But retailers are not the only ones celebrating Black Friday with special deals and promotions. Fast-food franchises also get into the act with bonus gift cards (great stocking stuffers!) and coupons for food and drinks (to keep you fueled while shopping!).
Check out these Black Friday deals and promotions from fast-food franchisors.
Denny’s
Denny’s is celebrating Black Friday 2022 with its Everyday Value Tee offered for $5.99 through its merch store. These promotional t-shirts have a QR code sewn into them, which can be scanned for a free Everyday Value Slam breakfast. With the purchase, guests are given a free Everyday Value Slam breakfast every day for a year as long as they wear the shirts to the restaurant. Denny’s will sell only 150 of these shirts starting at midnight Eastern Standard Time on Thanksgiving Day.
California Pizza Kitchen
California Pizza Kitchen is getting in on the Black Friday bandwagon. When customers purchase $100 in CPK gift cards through Dec. 31, they get a $20 promotional card.
Chili’s
Chili’s is offering a $10 bonus gift card when customers purchase a $50 gift card now until December 31. On Cyber Monday (and on December 21), customers will receive a pair of $10 bonus gift cards when they spend $50. The bonus cards can be redeemed from Jan. 11 – Feb. 13.
Chuck E. Cheese
Kids can get in on the Black Friday fun at Chuck E. Cheese. You can get a $15 bonus gift card when you buy a $50 gift card from Nov. 25 – 29. The bonus card is redeemable from Jan. 1 – Feb. 28, 2023. The family entertainment franchise also has an online offer for a $10 bonus card when you buy a $50 gift card online between Nov. 7 – 24. The bonus card is redeemable from Jan. 1 – Feb. 28, 2023.
Chuck E. Cheese also has an in-store offer for when you buy a $25 gift card from Nov. 21 – Dec. 31. You’ll receive 250 Bonus E-Tickets, which are redeemable from Jan. 1 – Feb. 28, 2023, at participating locations.
El Pollo Loco
When you buy a $100 El Pollo Loco gift card, you get a $25 bonus gift card. This Black Friday 2022 promotion ends Nov. 29.
Einstein Bros Bagels
To prepare for a long day of shopping, a fresh breakfast could give you the energy to endure those long Black Friday shopping lines. In the spirit of the season, you’ll get a $5 bonus gift card when you purchase a $30 gift card at Einstein Bros Bagels.
Jamba
You can go Black Friday shopping and enjoy a smoothie at a discount from Jamba. To celebrate the juice franchise’s new Merry Orange Cranberry smoothie and give thanks to its rewards members, Jamba is offering a BOGO 50% off deal for any smoothie order on Black Friday. On Cyber Monday, rewards members also get 20% off orders of $25 or less.
Applebee’s
At Applebee’s, Black Friday just got even better. When guests purchase a $50 gift card between Black Friday and Cyber Monday on the restaurant franchise’s website, they get $10 bonus cards. These bonus cards expire on Feb. 26, 2023, and can be used in-restaurant or through Applebee’s mobile app or website.
Del Taco
In honor of Black Friday 2022, Del Taco is offering a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) deal on free Stuffed Quesadilla Taco meals. This offer is valid on Black Friday and only available on orders placed through the Del Yeah! Rewards app or the website. The deal is limited to one offer per guest per day, and the discount is applied to the lowest priced qualifying item.
Noodles & Company
Noodles & Company rewards members get a $4 coupon for orders of $12 or more on Black Friday. This coupon can be used in person and through the app.
Yogurtland
At the Yogurtland franchise, you can pick up a yogurt treat to enjoy while you shop. If you purchase a gift card, with a value of $25 or more, you will be emailed a $5 bonus card. It will come in a separate email and contain a barcode, which will be scanned at checkout.
Popeyes
To commemorate Black Friday 2022, guests get a free chicken sandwich when they order any chicken sandwich combo through the Popeyes app or website. These include the Original, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, or the Blackened Chicken Sandwiches (above). This offer lasts for 10 days and starts on Black Friday.
McAlister’s Deli
On Black Friday 2022, you’ll get free delivery on your orders and a free dessert when you use the promo code TREATME2022 through the McAlister’s app. This deal is only available through the app and cannot be redeemed in store.
Schlotzsky’s
From Black Friday to Cyber Monday, you’ll get two bonus $5 gift cards when you purchase a $25 Schlotzsky’s gift card. Guests have to be Schlotzsky’s reward members to redeem it. Customers must unlock the reward in Schlotzsky’s app before Feb. 23, 2023. The reward expires two weeks after unlocking it.
Moe’s Southwest Grill
In the spirit of the holiday season, guests can enjoy a gift card deal from Moe’s Southwest Grill. When guests spend $25 or more on gift cards, they get $5 in rewards to use in the new year.
