Keystone Military Families Food Bank, based in Shoemakersville, Pennsylvania has been assisting deployed troops, veterans and military families since 2002 with the goal of providing support to the military community while preserving their dignity. Their food bank serves from 40 to 60 families weekly. Realizing that some of their families had difficulty accessing the center because it was not wheelchair accessible, they turned to Nick Marcellino, Amramp franchise owner in Philadelphia, to install a wheelchair ramp.
Nick and his Amramp team were honored to be able to be able to help and provide the ramp in time for the holiday season. Staff members were moved to tears when the ramp was completed and are thankful that the food pantry is now wheelchair accessible for everyone to be able to access safely and easily.
