The Marketing Pro has Extensive Experience with Wellness Franchises

Serotonin Centers, an anti-aging and longevity franchise, has named Dawn Weiss as its first-ever chief marketing officer. She brings two decades of experience with wellness franchises to the new role.

Weiss said she was impressed by the entrepreneurial achievements of Serotonin Centers founder and CEO Eric Casaburi and was excited to join his leadership team. “Having built Retro Fitness, Eric has an incredible track record of success. He also has a unique understanding of the changing wellness needs of consumers as they seek to find new and better ways to not just get fit, but to stay fit for life and optimize their health,” she said.

Serotonin Centers appeals to individuals seeking expert guidance in improving their health, she said, particularly as consumers have become more health-conscious following the COVID-19 pandemic. “Our medical advisors help them get sustainable results, and I want to help people see that,” she said. “People want to be in control of their health, and the information available for achieving their health and wellness goals can be overwhelming. Serotonin offers one-on-one health coaching, a personalized plan for wellness, and a way to make impactful changes that can increase longevity and improve each individual\’s way of life.”

Casaburi said he is confident Weiss will have a positive impact on the brand’s growth as it expands its footprint across the country. “Her expertise and vision make her the perfect leader to effectively communicate the full value of our member experience to all those seeking to take control of and optimize their health,” Casaburi said.

Passion for Wellness Franchising

Weiss has spent her entire franchising career in the wellness sector, serving in leadership roles at notable brands including Amazing Lash Studio, The Joint Chiropractic, Mayweather Fitness Holdings, Xponential Fitness and Massage Envy.

In addition to her experience in these roles, Weiss said she gained an appreciation for a more personalized approach to health and wellness as a child inspired by her grandfather, a medical doctor. “He had an incredible way of treating the person, not the symptoms,” she said. “People desperately want and deserve more doctors like him.”

Today, people want to be proactive and in control of their health, while maintaining authentic relationships with their health care professionals, she said. “Serotonin Centers delivers this, and we get to be a part of helping people find a better way to get and stay healthy.”

Beyond providing quality services, marketing plays a key role in Serotonin\’s growth, she said. “We provide recovery therapies that are not readily accessible to people elsewhere. We help people achieve weight loss, health and wellness goals through coaching and personalized plans that change with their needs. Our brand’s story is really our members’ story, and it’s derived from the results Serotonin delivers that truly transform the lives we touch every day.”

When crafting a marketing plan, Weiss said she focuses on understanding the specific market and target audience. “Marketing delivers a unique value proposition through compelling messaging that resonates and helps people find themselves in a relationship with your brand.”
