November 18, 2009 - The Glass Doctor of the Bay Area franchise owned by David Co is now open and ready to “fix your panes!”

As a full-service glass shop, Glass Doctor of the Bay Area offers mobile residential, automotive, and commercial glass services to Dublin, Fairview, Hayward, Pleasanton, Union City and the surrounding area. The shop at 1942 National Ave. in Hayward is open 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. – noon Saturday. Emergency service for businesses is available 24 hours a day.

“We’re confident Glass Doctor will help us expand our business beyond auto services,” said Co, who also owns an auto body shop franchise. “Already we have three glass service technicians on staff who replace windshields plus repair home windows, fogged insulated glass units and storefronts.”

Upon purchasing the franchise in April, Co and his manager, George Chan, attended the most in-depth training in the glass services industry, a 10-day training course on the latest glass repair technology, customer service techniques and marketing methods held at the Glass Doctor University Training Center in Waco, Texas.
